Project title: Raising the profile of the National Botanical Garden of Wales

The brief

Since its creation in 2000, the Gardens had struggled to build profile and visitor numbers and sought a joint design and marketing solution. The National Botanical Garden of Wales turned to Brand Faith for help.

The solution

Brand Faith set about reviewing the Garden’s identity, positioning and core appeal, moving its focus to conservation and sustainable development. They also created a marketing and communications plan and helped to implement it. Tactics deployed included the development of a new suite of promotional collateral (flyers, leaflets), revised ticket options (2-for-1, discounted deals etc) and a refresh of visitor materials and brochures. All materials were developed in both Welsh and English.

The results

Brand Faith’s work had a significant impact on visitor numbers, including a 40% growth in visitor numbers, staff morale and the external perceptions of the Garden have been revitalised.
