All About Brands signs up to the world's largest corporate citizenship initiative
All About Brands plc (AAB) today announced that it had signed up to the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest and most widely embraced corporate citizenship initiative. AAB is one of just five UK based marketing services groups to sign up to the UN Global Compact, and the first with operations overseas. AAB has wholly owned offices in the Middle East and affiliate offices in India as well as Eastern Europe and Turkey.
AAB Chairman, Allan Biggar said “I am delighted to announce that AAB has signed up to the ten principles of the Global Compact with respect to human rights, employment, environment and anti-corruption.
"As a marketing group which is expanding rapidly in the UK and emerging markets, I have a firm belief that business has a role in promoting the wider societal good.
"At AAB I am proud that we are integrating values of community and social responsibility into the strategy and culture of our company, and also to engage in projects which advance the broader development goals of the United Nations.
"In our short four years of operations, we have set in place a sustainable development plan, instituted carbon offsetting across the Group as well as entering a four year partnership with the UK's leading youth development charity, The Prince's Trust" he continued.
